'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League comeback

Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has revealed that his desire in going back to the Premier League has lessened and he is prepared to discuss a new agreement with Bayern Munich.

The prolific striker is presently midway through the four-year agreement he signed when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the offseason of 2023.

The 32-year-old forward has netted an outstanding 103 goals in 106 matches for the German team, contributing them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which was the initial major achievement of his illustrious career.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has recently mentioned that he would like to see Kane come back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring record of 260.

However, the England leader has now indicated that he is no longer as eager about coming back home as he earlier was, and would seriously consider lengthening his stay in Bavaria.

"In terms of extending longer, I could absolutely see that," he stated.

"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be willing to talk and have an straightforward conversation.

"Obviously it depends on how the next year or so goes and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not thinking about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have discovered in my career is that different options and different timings happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."

Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the all-time top scorer for both Tottenham and England and lately became the fastest player this century to reach 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five competitions, reaching the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a title had escaped him until he lifted the German title last season.

Kane admits that he was not sure how he would feel after breaking his trophy wait, but now believes it has made him motivated for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.

"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.

"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
